The campus library: a rich opportunity in library facilities

Library

Students at Lubbock Christian college have a rich opportunity in library facilities. In addition to the Reading Room there are two levels of stacks above the library workroom. This areas contains a book collection of approximately 12,000 volumes and a growing collection of back-issue periodicals. One hundred fifteen periodicals of cultural and academic interest are received currently.

Two lectures on library use are given to student each semester in English courses required of entering freshmen. The library Handbook forms the basis for these lectures. The library sponsors a monthly Book Review for the benefit of faculty and students. The fine collection of religious books in the Church of Christ Bible Chair at Texas Technological College is available to Lubbock Christian College students. Students and faculty may also use the facilities of the Lubbock public library.
